So, I'm back in syracuse, over the jet-lag, and getting back to life I figured it's about time I put up the rest of my pics
A warning, I took over 700+ pics, so this post has a lot of
pictures...not 700, but I selected quite a few to show, so enjoy!

Soo,
the short story is after the sneak-peak pics, the rest of thefirst week
I was in HK, we did a whole lot of shopping, we did twice asmuch
eating, saw lots of relatives, went to Shanghai for 4 days, backto HK
for 2 days, and then headed home. Here's some of the pics:
We went to the mountain peak in HK Island to see the city view...very nice

I think this was back at the giant buddha, some other fun pics =D

Our cousins who we met up with to eat and play some basketball with

This was at one of the mini malls...they sold mostly wholesale stuff, and it was ALLLLLL women's clothing and accessories.... So
my sister was very happy...It crazy here! where you could
onlyreally fit maybe 5 people across from wall to wall, there were
20people! Again, times when I couldn't move and was squished on
allsides! it was craaaazy man, a mall like that full of
shoppingfrenzied chinese women...It looks like the hallway goes on
forevertoo....i think it does....

This
is roast Geese at a famous place in HK. The restaurant weate it
at is supposedly the first place to start cooking the geese inthis
manner. It was a little hole in the wall under a bridgesomewhere
you would never expect to find a restaurant...that's how alot or
restaurants were...but they were alllllll amazingly deliciousand good!

Next
we went to the place in HK where they harvest oysters...I don'tremember
the names of places, haha, they all blur together since wewent to so
many places in such a short time. Most all therestaurants there
cooked oysters, and they were sooooooooo good! I normally don't
like oysters that much, but they just cooked it soperfect there!
What they do is put long wooden poles in thewater, and over time the
oysters grow on the poles. Then thepeople pull the poles out that
are full of oysters and pluck all theoysters out and dry some of
them. These pics show a personsquating and opening all the
oysters and pulling them out of theirshells. The shore was FULL
of shells. You can see in thebackground of one of one a pile of
shells and oysters being sun driedin the foreground...those shells were
like 6+ feet high and went allalong the shoreline...sooooooooo
many....and I found a cool hat...

The
streets were so small and the buildings were so close, that
eeeeeeeeeeeeeveryone had bikes. They all had little bells and
some had little kids in them. But yah, everyone used them to get
around on this part of HK.
Next
we went to Shanghai on that Sunday after a week in HK. We went to
see Simien and Andy and met up and hung out with some of their
friends. First thing we did was meet up with sim at the airport
and then he took us to this local place where they make shaolin buns,
and they were soooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!! oh my goodness, my mouth
waters just thinking about it...
Then we went to church and then went out to eat Hot Pot.
It
was lots of fun, and we got a massage eeeeeeeveryday! It was
sooooooo nice! It was only like $10~$15 an hour! The first
massage was a foot massage that we got sunday night, and it felt
soooooo good after the week of non-stop walking through HK. There
were 8 of us, and we got a room where we all sat on our own lazy
boys, and the atmosphere was zen like. In the room, we got food
service, and there was a giant LCD on the wall so while we were getting
a foot massage for 1.5 hours, we watched the movie School for
Scoundrels. Oooooh, the massages were nice...I could use one
now This is after we got massages
We went to eat japanese food too and some sight seeing in Pu-Dong and Pu-Shi

Spicy
Szchewan...lots and lots of hot peppers. finding the food in
the pile or soup of hot sauce and peppers was like finding a needle in
a haystack!
To
get back to HK, we went on the MagLift - Magnetic powered train.
It took us from Shanghai to the airport and maxed out at like 430km/ph
which i think is like ~300mph! It was so fast! there was
this one point when another maglift went the other direction parallel
to us and the entire train shook. I didn't see the train
pass cause I blinked, but my sister "saw" it.
When
we got back to HK, we went to the Chinese New Years Flower
Festival downtown...soooooooo many people again...once again, times
when we couldn't move...
We
saw our uncles workplace too and then went to eat with them.
This is what cubes in china look...so unless your workspace
is smaller than this, be thankful
Next
day went out to eat again, and to Times Sqaure. There were pigs
everywhere and we were lucky enough to get to Times square just in
time to catch the live performance of some big singer in HK. She
had a really nice voice, but she was only there for like 5 minutes
because she was only there for sound check at the time and
the show wasn't supposed to start until an hour and a half later.
Finally,
before we left, we went out on this one street that was completely
full of chinese people outside eating Hot Pot...so we joined, and then
we ended off with playing a couple games of Mahjong with our
grandma and relatives...and that was the trip!

an awesome trip indeed...
